Looking back...smiling at the "rear view"...
Because my "Finding Grace" page is where I used to stow my tidbits...thought I'd take a min and look back...planning to go down memory lane w. "nclilfish" next...
smiled reading this post on "serenity" ~ lil' did I know how redefining this word would open my heart in ways I never would have imagined...
serenity-not-quite

Awakening ~
In those days,
we finally chose
to walk like giants
& hold the world
in arms grown strong with love
& there may be many things we forget
in the days to come,
but this will not be one of them.

Mid-week checking in...
There wasn't a "fun things" posted this week, but it was a blessed weekend at home for us. With Valentine's on the horizon, the "lubby-dubby" stuff was all around. Here's some sweetness, some randomness and some just because-ness...
Friday flowers from Seth ~ he said they reminded him of me & Ella (sigh)

Adoring looks for big brother John - if "in loving awe" faces got any sweeter...

Lots of "look Ella!" ~ accompanied w.singing, dancing & smiles ~ the loving adoration runs both ways...

Dueling crockpots = smelling good Sundays = the only way we get a home-cooked meal on busy weeknights (thank you whoever invented crockpots!)...

Even though we said "no gifts" - got my Valentine a book, "The Way You Look Tonight" (this song carries so much meaning that I'll save for a future blog entry) that was an 80 cents "junk find". I believe God put this in my scavenging path - I added lots of pink, "I like" hearts throughout....foreword by Ol' Blue Eyes himself:
I believe the most important thing to look for in a woman is a sense of humor. Make her feel appreciated. Make her feel beautiful. If you practice long enough, you will know when you get it right.

Looking around house at some "loving" reminders ~ this one about sunshine sits appropriately in the kitchen window...
God gives us sunshine so it is easy for us to see what is important.

This Story People (that had to have been written for us) hangs in the kitchen as you look into the living room...
If I love you with all my heart, she said, what will you give me? & then she stopped & said I didn't have to answer that because she was going to do it anyway.

My makeshift recipe holder ~ I like the sentiments it conveys...insert cooking analogy ~ these are the "meat & potatoes" of it all...
Family ~ Love ~ Trust ~ Grow

The newly organized fridge, just as "cluttered" and blessedly full of happy reminders...

Sweet treats

Looking forward to having a weekend of warm sunshine, super-sized sleepovers, adult bevs, good music, lots of laughter and celebratin' the "cat's meow" of mamas (sigh)...

And some lil' tidbits for your viewing pleasure...
Happy Hump Day!
