Today she was presented with the empathy award. A little girl, Ella, who has mild form of Down’s syndrome is in her class. From the beginning of the year this has been Taylar’s special friend. In her own words, “I help Ella.” When we inquired if Taylar seemed adjusted to her new school at the parent/teacher conference, Mrs. Lawrence touched on the special way Taylar cared for Ella.

Taylar is ahead of her targets in math & reading ~ and it just makes my heart smile to hear she excels in applying the golden rule!
