"You can't handle the truth!"

And lots of other movie/tv quotes were being exchanged across the phoneline between Seth & I this morning. From seeing too many movies to reading most, if not all, John Grisham books - we got the courtroom lingo down pretty good. Seth's got Jury Duty, hence the courtroom-themed conversation...

Just talked to him. He said things are going pretty good, he's hoping to get chosen for "a big trial" - I think he's having too much fun. He said it's pretty nice - they got bathrooms, a deli right next to the jury room & he said one of the juror's name was Odell - a older black man all dressed up in his "church clothes". That kind of stuff (old men, church clothes, names like Odell) makes us smile for some reason :) At any rate, I have a feeling that the $15/day compensation probably wouldn't buy much at that deli, so I'm glad Seth reassured me that even if he gets "a big trial", he'll still get paid "real $$" at his "real job".

PS. I'm just glad he found the bathroom :)
